Melanage Skin Lightening Peel System

The Melanage Peel is a clinical peel that treats melasma and hyperpigmentation. Melanage suppresses the skin’s pigment and lightens darker pigmentation without bleaching the surrounding baseline skin tone. It is extremely effective for patients of all skin types. This treatment may be a good option for darker skin types for whom laser treatments are not appropriate and too aggressive. Melanage will even out skin tone, decrease pigmentation, and also provides anti-aging benefits by stimulating collagen.

The difference between the Melanage and mini Melanage is the amount of downtime needed following the treatment. The full-strength Melanage Peel gives achieves the full effect in just one treatment, but requires more downtime, usually one week. For less downtime, we usually recommend four mini Melanage treatments, which is the appropriate treatment plan to achieve effective results. We also recommend the mini Melanage as a maintenance treatment after the full course of treatment has taken place.
