Body Contouring

Fine-tune the best of you.

Body contouring is the perfect way to target problem areas of loose skin, cellulite, and unwanted fat.  The Dermatology Center utilizes the very latest non-invasive technology for body contouring including Exilis Elite™ for skin tightening and cellulite reduction and Vanquish Me™  for fat removal.

Exilis Elite

The Exilis Elite treatment is the latest technology in skin tightening and fat reduction, using Radio Frequency energy to safely and effectively target problem areas. Collagen production is stimulated and as the area cools it results in the tightening of the skin. There is minimal discomfort and no downtime. Patients equate the heat felt during an Exilis Elite treatment to the heat similar to a hot stone massage.

Popular areas to treat with Exilis Elite are:

  • Eyes
  • Neck
  • Jowls
  • Abdomen
  • Upper Arms
  • Thighs
  • Love Handles

We recommend approximately 6 treatments per area. Each session can take 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the area to be treated. Our patient care coordinators will put together a package for you depending on how many treatments you need, and the areas you wish to have treated.

Vanquish Fat Removal

Vanquish is a new non-invasive fat removal procedure for the entire midsection that eliminates unwanted fat using a new clinical deep tissue heating device with selective radio frequency to target fat without the cost and recovery of surgery. The Vanquish technology selectively heats stubborn cells just enough to allow for cell breakdown, transforming them into waste, which the body begins to naturally flush away and eliminate.

How many treatments will I need?

The amount of treatments you will need may vary. The recommended amount of treatments is 4-6 treatments spaced 1-2 weeks apart. We recommend a cosmetic consultation so we can evaluate the area and recommend the most appropriate amount of treatments based on your goal.

How do I prepare for the Vanquish treatment?

Hydration is very important. Patients should drink 2 liters of water one day before the treatment and 2-3 days following each treatment. Water consumption will increase the results and tolerability of the treatment.

Is there any side effects or any downtime needed?

You may experience some redness after each treatment, but the redness will dissolve after a few hours.

Do Vanquish Treatments hurt?

Vanquish will not cause any pain. Most patients feel very comfortable during the treatment and would compare the sensation similar to a heating pad.

What kind of results can I expect from Vanquish?

A patient can expect up to 60% of fat cells destroyed just after four treatments. However, results may vary from with patients depending on many factors, measurable results are common. For the best results it is recommended to practice light to moderate exercise, maintaining a healthy diet and drinking plenty of water.

Kybella - The First & Only Injectable Double Chin Treatment

What is Kybella?

Kybella is a nonsurgical treatment that contours and improves the appearance of submental fullness (also called a “double chin”).

How does Kybella work?

The active ingredient in Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath your chin, Kybella causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat.

How many treatments will I need?

Many patients treated with Kybella experience visible contouring of their chin profile in 2 to 4 treatments. Some people require up to 6 treatments in order to achieve results. Each treatment session takes about 15-20 minutes. Once your chin profile has improved, you may not need to be treated with Kybella again.

Will I experience any side effects?

As with other injectable treatments, you may experience side effects with Kybella. The most common side effects are swelling, bruising, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area. In clinical trials, the incidence and severity of most side effects decreased with subsequent Kybella treatments.
