Laser Hair Removal

If you're not happy with shaving, tweezing, or waxing to remove unwanted hair, laser hair removal may be an option worth considering.

Our Motus AY Laser system is the gold standard for painless hair removal technology. It uses an intensely concentrated beam of light (unlike IPL treatments) and a series of high-repetition pulses to increase the temperature of the hair follicle and the surrounding tissue to ensure that the hair is destroyed at the source. It takes a couple weeks, but those targeted hairs do eventually shed away on their own.

The next time hair grows back it's finer, thinner, and lighter. With each subsequent treatment, less and less hair continues to grow back until eventually, hair stops growing back at all. Laser hair removal can drastically reduce hair growth in almost all areas, including your legs, arms, underarms, stomach, back, and neck, to name a few.

Let our advanced hair removal technology help you gain confidence over your skin by treating unwanted hair almost anywhere on the body, including the legs, arms, face, bikini area, underarms, chest and back. Unwanted hair growth will be reduced to the point that other hair removal methods are rarely needed.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL FAQS

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

If receiving laser hair removal treatments for the first time, 6 to 8 treatments are recommended for optimal results. Because all hair is not in the same stage of growth at any given time, several laser treatments, usually between 6 and 8 treatments, spaced 6 to 10 weeks apart, are necessary for optimal results.

To some extent, the length of treatment depends on the texture of the patient's hair, and the location from which it is being removed. Results are unique to each individual. Typically 6-12 treatments are recommended, but it may be more or less. Although laser hair removal is permanent, in some cases, it's possible to have new hair growth.

HOW DOES MOTUS AY HAIR REMOVAL WORK?

At the core, laser hair removal works by emitting highly-concentrated beams of light into hair follicles, which destroys the hair. Most laser hair removal treatments utilize the Alexandrite laser, which is particularly effective in removing fine or light hair, but which doesn’t work well on darker skin types. Thanks to its Moveo technology, this Motus AY laser handpiece delivers more efficient energy to remove hair in a painless way for a wider spectrum of skin shades.
